A proportion of our company’s profits are devoted to creating a future for the impoverished slum dwellers in Cambodia.  In a charity close to the hearts of Choice QUM’s Directors, Chris and Michael Bonner have provided complete funding to purchase the land, build and support the day to day activities of this ‘western’ standard free health clinic and community crisis centre. 

Furthermore, our Australian contacts within the health industry provide the clinic with a wealth of skilled volunteers.  Our client facility’s nursing staff are invited to become involved and experience what will inevitably be a life-changing volunteering stint at the Helen Bonner Health Centre.  We also appreciate the donations of medical equipment and miscellaneous items from our clients.

Choice QUM also provides an annual scholarship to x2 RNs/EENs who have displayed extraordinary commitment to the ‘Quality Use of Medicines’ for their residents.  As part of the scholarship, Choice QUM provides flights, accom, living expenses and a personal tour guide for a 2-4 week period.

Choice QUM’s pharmacists also regularly attend the clinic to volunteer their services and experience and contribute to a very different form of health care.
